Wanda C. Bright age 87 of New Castle passed away Sunday February 28, 2010 at The Waters of New Castle.
She was born March 6, 1922 in Pulaski County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Henry Burton and Betty Elizabeth Denham. She was a member of Faith Assembly Church in New Castle.
She is survived by her children: Janet Kraus of Oregon, Brenda Lawson (John) of Oregon, Scott McWhorter (Dorothy) of Richmond, Charles McWhorter (Nancy) of Oregon, Bert McWhorter of Oregon, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband Delmer Lewis McWhorter and 2nd husband Michael Bright.
There will be a service 11:00 AM Thursday March 4, 2010 at Marcum Community Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memory Garden. Rev. Gene Bennett will be officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.marcumfuneralhome.com
