James R. Neal Sr. age 74 of New Castle passed away Sunday June 21, 2009 at his home.
He was born June 5, 1935 in Monticello, Kentucky the son of the late Charles and Dorothy Bell Neal. He worked at Chrysler and retired in 1974.
He is survived by his wife Betty L. Neal of New Castle, daughters Dorothy (Danny) Murphy, Victoria L., Mitchell L. (Conner), Rebecca Ann Lenz, son Charles R. Neal "Chuck" (companion Stacy Marcum), grandchildren Amy, Travis Cupp, Kristal and David Church, Chuck R. Neal Jr., Jasmine LaForce, Victor A. Baker Jr., Joshua D. (Chrystal) Dean, Thomas M. Raines, Troy S. Neal, Chad (Tina) Lenz, Chasity (Tim) Durick, Stephanine and Brandy Neal, sister Geraldine Roberts, brother Charles Jr. (Teresa). Several nieces and nephews, great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, sons Dennis and Jimmy, son in law Jr. Lenz, granddaughter Charisse Neal, sister Katherine Converse.
Services will be Thursday June 25, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Marcum Community Funeral Home. Rev. Jerry Stewart will be officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday 11-1PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.marcumfuneralhome.com
