Jennings E. Johnson age 69 of New Castle passed away Wednesday June 17, 2009 at his home.
He was born Feb. 9, 1940 in Burnside, KY, the son of the late Arvel and Eva Marcum Johson. He was in the U.S Navy, also was a painter . He was a longtime Florida resident, loved to fish and was a Nascar fan.
He is survived by his daughters: Debbie (Larry) Groce of New Castle, Lisa Tippett (companion Danny Groce) of New Castle, Tabitha Turner (fiance Jackie Blevins) of New Castle, 3 sons Timothy Johnson (Shelvie) of Lessburg, FL., John Johnson (Glenda) of New Castle, Billy (Danielle) Johnson of Geogetown, KY., 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, brothers: James (Betty Lee) of Greenfield, Darrell (Dorothy) Johnson of New Castle, Creston (Charolette) Johnson of Straughn, Glen Johnson of Indianapolis, Dwight (Sharon) Johnson of Bryant, Ohio, Herbert (Marilyn) Johnson of Pendleton, sisters Glenna Kay of Somerset, KY., Betty Joe of Monticello, KY., several nieces and nephews. Longtime friend Mary Simmons of Orlando, FL.
Preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Donald and Jody.
