Dorothy B Neal age 91 of New Castle passed away Tuesday June 16, 2009 at Stonebrook Rehabilitation Facility.
She was born November 26, 1917 in Monticello, Kentucky the daughter of the late Emerson and Lizzie Stockton Bell. She was a homemaker. She attended that Church Services at the Nursing Home and loved the Lord Jesus. Also she loved her children, grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren.
Survivors include her children: James R. Neal (wife Betty) of New Castle, Geraldine Roberts of Lewisville, Charles (wife Teresa) Neal of Kokomo, brothers: Hershell and Fred Bell, Nanny Ricks and Marie Spradlin, 14 grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband Charles, daughter Katherine Converse. Grandsons Dennis Neal and Jimmie Neal and 1 great granddaughter, son in laws Bill Roberts and Jack Converse. Brothers Earl, Frank and sisters Sally and Elsie.
Services will be Friday June 19, 2009 at 1 PM . Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery. Friends may 11am -1pm Friday prior to service. Online condolences may be made at www.marcumfuneralhome.com
Dorothy will be greatly missed. I knew her from my very youngest memories. She was a friend of my parents for many years before their passing. I always enjoyed talking with Dorothy about Rummage sales and as I grew older, about church, and about the Lord.
