Jesse C. Dalton age 79 of Greensboro passed away Tuesday morning November 2, 2010 at St. Vincent Hospital.
He was born April 6, 1931 in Albany, Kentucky the son of the late James M. and Elva Elizabeth Cooksey Dalton. He worked 15 years at the State Hospital and was a member of the Greensboro United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife Mary Bach Dalton, daughter Susan Bradford of Greensboro, brothers Ralph (Roxie) Dalton of Greensboro, Donald (Barbara) Dalton of Greensboro, Keith (Pauline) Dalton of Portland, Tennessee, sisters Sue (Gene) Niles of Hamilton, Ohio, Ida Reynolds of New Castle, 5 grandchildren Lindsay (Elvis) Couch of Knightstown, Wendee (Mike) Pickett of Rushville, Jennifer Dalton of Fishers, Jessica (Joe) Downs of New Castle, Ross (Brittney) Dalton of Brownsburg, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents; brother David, son James and sister Deborah.
Services will be Friday November 5, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Marcum Community Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hicksite Cemetery. Rev.’s Ruth Waite and Mark Simmermon will be officiating. Friends may call Thursday 4-8 PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.marcumfuneralhome.com
