Rosemary Razor Poe age 80 of New Castle passed away Friday July 24, 2009 at Ball Memorial Hospital.
She enjoyed her family, gardening and bird watching. She was born September 12, 1928 in Mt. Summit, Indiana the daughter of the late George Washington and Oda Haze Razor. She worked at restaurants in Mt. Summit, also retired from Standard Super Market after several years.
She is survived by her 2 sons Floyd Stephen Poe of New Castle, Thomas Poe of Rockford, Illinois, 3 daughters Deborah (Gary) Tower of New Castle, Susan (Bruce) Bilby of New Castle, Marla Asberry of New Castle, grandchildren Chris (Peggy) Tower, Robert (Marnie)Tower, Anita (Robert) Hamblin, R.J (Ann) Scott, Barbara (Jay) Lewis, Melissa Poe ( Jon Ballenger), David (Stacy) Bilby, Rachel (Jeremy) Platts, Sarah (Chad) Cooper, Jackie (Chris) Price, Haley Asberry, Caleb Asberry ( Brittany Franklin) Stacie Asberry. Great grandchildren Matthew Tower, Ben and Elizabeth Tower, Samantha Masters, Brandon (fiancé Jessica) Tower, Ross Hannon, Logan Lewis, Shelby Scott, Nathan and Gabriel Bilby, Elias, Olin and Amara Platts, Makayla and Noah Price and Lauren Asberry. Sister Nona Lester, sister in law Eva Razor, several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband Floyd Poe, brother Nelson Razor, sisters Thelma Flowers, Beulah Voehl, Betty Littrell.
Services will be Thursday July 30, 2009 at 10:30 AM at the Mt. Summit Christian Church. Rev. Mark O’Brien will be officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Summit Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 4-8 PM at Marcum Community Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Mt. Summit Christian Youth Group, also the New Covenant Worship Center Childrens Ministry. Online condolences may be made at www.marcumfuneralhome.com

To the entire Floyd Poe family: Our sincerest condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Aunt Rosemary and Uncle Floyd were the kindest and most wonderful people I've known. Aunt Rosie will indeed be missed, but we all have such wonderful memories and she will be with us forever.

Mom last week and Aunt Rosie this week it has been an awful couple of weeks but they are together now in Heaven along with Uncle Floyd , Aunt Tem,Aunt Bookie, and the rest we will all be together again one fine day. God Bless you all. Love Jay and Rita
