Earl Duane Stearns 51. of New Castle, Indiana passed away November 25, 2010, unexpectedly at his residence. He was born January 23, 1959 in New Castle Indiana the son of Eugene and Eva (Marsh) Stearns.
He worked construction, was a mechanic and enjoyed the outdoors especially, hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with is children, grandchildren and family.
Survivors include: his mother, Eva Stearns of New Castle, In.; 2 daughters: Kristi Mosier and her husband, Jarod of Mooreland, IN.; Carrie Hardwick of Greensburg, IN; 4 sons: Justin Stearns and his companion, Kristen Wesley; Eric Stearns, Tom Stearns and Mitch Stearns all of New Castle, IN.; 6 grandchildren, Taylor, Hayley, Eli, Quinten, Jenna and Jackson; 3 sisters: Debbie Sexton and her husband, Phillip; Cheryl Stearns and her husband, Steve, Kim Cole and her husband, John all of New Castle, IN.; 4 brothers: Dale Stearns and his wife, Linda, Dana Stearns and his wife, Renee, Myron Stearns, Toby Stearns and his wife Candy all of New Castle, IN.
His was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Stearns.
Friends and family may call from 4-7 pm Tuesday November 30, 2010 at Marcum Community Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:00 PM December 1, 2010 at Marcum Community Funeral Home with Mark Denny officiating.
