Alonzo Raymond Lowe age 73 of New Castle passed away Wednesday December 8, 2010 at his home.
He was born October 21, 1937 in New Castle, the son of the late Alonzo and Elizabeth Davis Lowe. He was in the U.S Army from 1960-1962, worked at Imperial Wall Covering in New Castle. He was a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church on South 26th.
Survivors include his wife Edna (Genny) , daughter Trenda Lowe of Macy, Indiana and son William Lowe of New Castle, 2 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 4 great great grandchildren. Brothers & Sisters: Mildred Mae Wolf of Harrison, Ohio, Audrey Upchurch of New Castle, Danny (wife Lili) Lowe of New Castle, Jerry (Tina) Lowe of New Castle, Stanley (Peggy) Lowe of Milton, Kentucky, Barbara (James) Johnson of Warsaw, IN., Sharon (Ray) Brewer of Springville, IN.
Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jackie and James Lowe, sisters Jeanette Lowe and Sara Bell Thompson.
Services will be Friday December 10, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church on South 26th street. Burial will follow in Circle Grove Cemetery in Spiceland, Indiana. Friends may call Friday 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM prior to service. Rev’s. Donald Silvers and Gary McCutchen will be officiating. There will be military honors provided by the VFW and American Legion.
