Paul Willis age 82 of New Castle went to meet the Lord Friday December 31, 2010 at Heritage House Nursing Home.
He was born June 9, 1928 in Monticello, Kentucky the son of the late Steve and Pearl Denney Willis. He worked at Van Matre Woodworking for 33 years, retired in 1994. He loved to hunt, go to shooting matches and trade guns, knifes and dogs.
He is survived by his children: sons Tom Willis of New Castle, Chester (Dianna) Willis of New Castle, daughters Cynthia (Robert) Crank, Peggy Byers both of New Castle, grandchildren Misty Willis (special friend Malissa Prince), Shelley Willis, Angie (Brandon)Smith, Anthony (Cara)Willis, Amy Willis and Bobby Crank. Great grandchildren Nickolis Snekems, Dillion Medanials, Aubrey Willis, Jonathon Petrilla, Jackson Smith, Alexander Smith, Kaylynn Willis, Kaden Willis, Damian Crank. Sisters Mary (Jessie) Neal, Jossie (Bud) Dalton, Viola (Evert) Stinson, Louise (Gene) Guffey. Brother William (Lugene) Willis.
Preceded in death by his wife Allene, and his parents. Special uncle Bill Willis, daughter Lillie, son in law Steven Byers.
Services will be Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Marcum Community Funeral Home. Rev. Eldon Denney will be officiating. Friends may call Monday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hillsboro Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.marcumfuneralhome.com
