Eva E. Stearns age 74 of New Castle went to be with the Lord January 10, 2011 at her daughter and son-in-laws house surrounded by her family. She was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on July 27, 1936 to Dudley and Elsie (Boone) Marsh. She loved her family and playing bingo, going to the auctions, the Goodwill, loved the outdoors, and her dog Pee Wee.
Survivors include 3 daughters Debbie (Phillip) Sexton, Cheryl (fiance Steve Roberts), Kim (John) Cole, 4 sons Dale (Linda) Stearns, Dana (Renee) Stearns, Myron and Toby (Candy) Stearns. She has many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband Eugene Stearns (2001), son Earl Stearns (2010), sister Judy Wilkinson and her parents.
Services will be Friday January 14, 2011 at 1:30 PM at Marcum Community Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Denney will be officiating. Burial will follow in Hillsboro Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday 4-8 PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.marcumfuneralhome.com
