Pamela Jean Akers age 55 of New Castle passed away Thursday February 10, 2011 at Henry County Hospital.
She was born May 14, 1955 in New Castle, Indiana the daughter of Howard Bud and Shirley West Robinson. She was a homemaker and loved her family very much. She enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and having fun with family. She always had a big smile and loved her rose bush.
Survivors include her husband Ken Akers, mother Shirley, son Jericho (Bonnie) Ford, daughter Amy Dean all of New Castle, 2 sisters Becky Estes of New Castle, Michelle (Scott) Barnett of Michigan, grandchildren Tasha Dunn, Trey Akers, Denim and Dallas Ford all of New Castle.
Preceded in death by her father Howard "Bud" Robinson, and brother Danny Robinson.
Services will be Thursday February 17, 2011 at 12:00 PM at Marcum Community Funeral Home. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery. Friends may call from 10AM-12PM prior to service on Thursday. Online condolences may be made at www.marcumfuneralhome.com
