Edsel Ford Winningham age 71 of New Castle passed away Sunday January 10, 2010 at his home.
He was born February 27, 1938 in Livingston, TN., the son of the late Willis and Lydia Bowers Winningham. He was in the United States Marines, worked 36 years as a Mechanic at Goodwin Brothers and was a member of the Eagles Lodge.
He is survived by his wife Rebecca Mae Winningham, children: Kelly (Bruce) Hamilton, Belinda (Keith) Clift, Corey Lindsay and Amanda Strong and Rom the cat. Brothers and sisters Bruce Winningham, Bobbie Freije and Jennie Riggen. Grandchildren Lindsay (Matthew) Laurie, Dereck Hamilton, Marvin Lindsay, Heather Lindsay, Auriah Lindsay, Patirica Lindsay, Ashlyn Lindsay. Great granddaughter Mackenzie Laurie.
Preceded in death by his parents, brothers John and Gerald Winningham.
Services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday at Marcum Community Funeral Home.
Rev. Mike Kirby will be officiating. Friends may call 10 AM- 3 PM at the funeral home prior to service. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memory Gardens. Online condolences may be made at www.marcumfuneralhome.com

Edsel has been a family friend for many years, and while I have not seen him in a very long time I have many fond thoughts and memories of him from my childhood. I simply want to let Becky and his family know that he was a good man, I know he will be missed, and they are in my thoughts.
