Dianna Sue Clapp Engle, 67 of New Castle went to be with the Lord Wednesday September 14, 2011. She passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side.
She was born June 30, 1944 in Spiceland, IN., and was the daughter of the late James E. and Evelyn E. (Deen) Clapp.
She attended Spiceland School and received her GED. She was employed by Perfect Circle, Raintree Square and she retired from Draper, Inc. She loved playing cards and spending time with her family especially her daughters Cheryl and Ronda. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life. Sue will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her especially her survivors: daughter Cheryl Lynn (Terry) Slettvet, grandsons Michael (Tina) Abrams, Ryan Abrams, Ronnie Whitehead, Zack and fiancee Ashley Flowers, great grandchildren Maddie and Mason Abrams, Tatum and Riley Abrams, Cadyn, Gavyn and Alexah Whitehead, sister Donna (Hershel) Fairchild, brother Steve (Phyllis) Clapp, sister in law Dianna Clapp, son in law Mike Abrams, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceded in death by her first husband Ronnie Prince, daughter Ronda Abrams, parents Evelyn and James Clapp, brother Gary Clapp, grandparents and her favorite aunt Stella Kennedy. Many aunts and uncles.
Services will be Tuesday September 20, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Marcum Community Funeral Home. Rev. Danny Douglas will be officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM prior to service on Tuesday.
