Norman T. Johnson
Norman "Sonny" Terry Johnson Jr. age 61 of New Castle passed away Wednesday April 30, 2008 at his home.
He was born April 12, 1947 in Indio, California the son of Norman T. Johnson Sr. and Effie LaVerne Johnson. He worked at CFH Enterprises in Knightstown and Construction all his life. He enjoyed fishing, boating, camping at Bear Hollow camp ground in Bloomington. And enjoyed cooking Mexican Food.
Survivors include his wife the former Cathy Carender whom he married Feb. 5, 1994 in New Castle; children Dean Johnson (companion Misty Thomas) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Tera Boyd (companion Jeremy Thomas) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, stepsons Shane Riggs of Shirley, Indiana and Brandon (Lorrie) Riggs of Warren, Indiana. Grandchildren Janelle Johnson of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Nicholas Tripplett of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Noah Riggs of New Castle and Glenn Riggs of Warren, Indiana. Family dog Chloe Belle, sister Cherie Brown of Everett, Washington, brothers Lynn Johnson (companion Doug Crowley) of LaQuinta, CA., William (wife Rita) Clark of Dessert Hot Springs, CA., Randy Lovan of West Covina, CA., David Lovan of Upland, CA., Kevin Johnson of McMinnville, OR., Keven Lovan of Ontario, CA., Also a step father Cecil Lovan (wife Jean) of Homosassa, Florida. Several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his mother and sister Jeanie Redditt.
Services will be Monday May 5, 2008 at 11AM at Marcum Community Funeral Home. Burial will follow at South Mound Cemetery West Lawn Addition. James Nichols will be officiating.
