Ronald Melton, 57, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2012 following a courageous battle with cancer. Born March 1, 1954 to Irvin and Nelda (Groce) Melton, Ronnie graduated from Walter P. Chrysler High School in 1972. He enjoyed his grandchildren, fishing and riding his horse, Lady.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Joe. He is survived by two sons Chris (fiancé Catrenia) and grandaughter Charlease of Corsicana, Texas and Micheal, granddaughter Allaynah and grandson Remington of Montpelier, Indiana.
He also has a surviving brother and sister and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Marcum
Community Funeral Home. Visitation is Tuesday, January 31, 2012 from 5 to 7 PM with graveside service on Wednesday at 11 AM at South Mound Cemetery.
