Vance Allen Isom age 55 of New Castle passed away Wednesday December 9, 2009 at his home.
He was born December 22, 1953 in New Castle the son of Rufus and Madge Trumbo Isom. He was a lifetime Painter, was in the U.S Navy and attended the North Side Church of God.
Survivors include his companion Wanda Crabtree, 4 sisters Myrtle Murphy of New Castle; Betty (husband Conway) Asberry of New Castle, Paula (husband Mark) Hayworth of Lewisville, Beatrice (husband John) Whisler of New Castle. Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers Rufus Jr, Johnny and Tim, 1 son Garrett.
Services will be Monday December 14, 2009 at 12:00 PM at Marcum Community Funeral Home. Rev. Dave Branham will be officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery West Lawn Addition. Vance- I am sorry to hear about your death. I kmow this last year has been hell for you, but I was praying you would be able to pull your self out. I know it is hell when you loose one child but you had lost two. I know your sister are in sorrow for they have lost their baby brother and their only brother left. It was sad hearing about Vance. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and his sisters and their families. My mother, Peggy, sends her condolences as well.
