Edna Mae McKee
Edna Mae McKee age 92 of Shelbyville and formerly of New Castle passed away Tuesday May 13, 2008 at Major Hospital in Shelbyville.
She was born Feb. 10, 1916 in New Castle the daughter of the late John and Phoebe Fadley Kendall. She worked for the City Schools and Westminister. She was a member of many clubs and organizations including a 73 year member of Eastern Star Charter, also Kappa Delta Phi.
She is survived by her granddaughter Kelly (husband Russell W.) Steele of Shelbyville, 1 great grandson Kendall Jaycob Steele, 3 step great grandchildren Tyler Steele, Trevor Steele and Mackenzie Steele.
Preceded in death by her husband Marvin D. McKee in 1964, her parents, a son Donald M. McKee, a brother William F. Kendall and a step brother Max G. Padgett.
Services will be Friday May 16, 2008 at 1 PM at Marcum Community Funeral Home. Rev. Curt Shaw will be officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery. Friends may call Friday 11 AM - 1 PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.marcumfuneralhome.com
